Trendy 2009 Fashion Hair Trend: Braided Hair

Braided hair been one of the most obvious beauty trends this year. People seem to have a love-hate relationship with it -some people think it's pretty and some think it's just too cutesy. For most part, I think braids is a cute way to add some girliness to ones hairstyle, but it really depends on how you do it and whether it suits the rest of your look.

The celebrity that has been sporting braids the most seems to be Lauren Conrad. And if you know Lauren's usual style (-very girly,) then you would probably agree that the braids really suit Lauren.

Fashion Hair Trend

The basic way seems to be braiding the front bit of your hair and pull the briad to one side, and tie all your hair up into a pony tail. Look how well the braid goes with Lauren's style!
And she even manages to use the braid to glam up her whole hairstlye and look.
Nicole Richie uses the braids to complement her boho, LA style.
Then there's the braided up-do.
I have to admit I think this hairstyle really doesn't suit Gwen Stefani. It looks so complicated and just... weird on her.
I love the way Rachel wore the braid. She manages to wear the braid without looking overly girly, keeping her casual and trendy look.
Despite how cute I think the braid is, I still haven't tried it out yet. It's probably because I don't want to look like I'm 14, but mostly because it requires some effort to pull together (as opposed to doing nothing.) What do you think of the braid trend? Have you tried it?

Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom Wedding

In a wedding just made for a reality tv series, Khloe Kardashian and Los Angeles Lakers forward Lamar Odom were married Sunday night September 27.

Khloe Kardashian wore a white wedding dress by Vera Wang and was escorted down the isle by her stepfather Bruce Jenner.

The wedding was held at friend Irving Azoff mansion in Beverly Hills.

The entire wedding ceremony was filmed for the reality series Keeping Up With the Kardashians and will air in a upcoming episode.

We can only speculate if the wedding may result in yet another Kardashian television reality series spin off.

Among the invited guests were Kelly Osbourne, Ryan Seacrest, Jillian Barbari, Chelsea Handler, Kobe and Vanessa Bryant, Alan Thicke, Joe Francis, Joel Silver, Lara Spencer, Brittny Gastineau, Adrienne Bailon, Lala Vasquez.

Also in attendance from the Lakers team were Lakers coach Phil Jackson, general manager Mitch Kupchak and players Ron Artest, Derek Fisher, Luke Walton and Sasha Vujacic.

Teri Hatcher Finished Triathlon Event

In the age of 43, Teri Hatcher shows a good celebrity lifestyle with combining sport and social activity. Couple weeks ago Teri Hatcher participated in a charity triathlon event. She spent the past few months to trained to compete in this Nautica Malibu Triathlon in Los Angeles.The mother-of-one, who was raising funds for the Children's Hospital Los Angeles, and was joined by her 11-year-old daughter Emerson Rose.

She recently revealed that doing the triathlon was on her 'bucket list' of things to do before she dies.The former Superman star, who plays as Susan Mayer in Desperate Housewives TV Series, has set up a fundraising website www.teamhatcher.org and is hoping to raise $10,000.

Teri participated in the triathlon with few other celebrities, alongside her co-star Felicity Huffman and actor husband William H Macy, Anna Kournikova and Saved By The Bell star Mario Lopez. The event was kicked off by David Hasselhoff.



Teri Hatcher completed this triathlon event by doing a half mile swam, 18 mile out and back cycled, and 4 mile out and back ran. She finished in 2h 6mn 50.7s. The incredible thing is she did this in the age of almost 44! Lots of younger person (including man) won't be able to finish just one of three events in triathlon but she did it all. No wonder she still have a fabulous body and fresh look because as a celebrity she has a good lifestyle.
